The Prize: Three images!!

Here is the my Design Team Card for inspiration. 

I used the Aim for the Heart Digi from Starz Stampz to make my card this week.

• I used Prisma Colored Pencils to color the image.
• The Stitched Rectangle Die Set from Gina Marie Designs was used to cut out the image and the red cardstock behind her.
• I love the arrow background paper. It was adhered to a 6" x 6" white card.
• I added the strip of striped paper down the side for detail and then added my hearts with Jems on one side.
• The hearts were made using a punch. I used the pink hearts and folded them in half and adhering them to the center of the red ones.
• I used Stickles on the wings and Halo for some shimmer.

Life is Better with you in it.

Hello Everyone and Welcome! We are kicking off another Festive Friday's Challenge at the Outlawz.ning.com this week. We have four fun and Festive Holiday's we chose as our Theme's for this weeks Challenge You can chose one or more of these theme's for inspiration on your project. The Holiday Theme's are National Pet Day, National Sibling Day, National Golfers Day and April Showers Day. I hope you get a chance to stop by and see the Design Team's inspirational projects.

My Card is for National Sibling Day. 

This is perfect for my sister.

• This is a Stamp Set from Unity Stamp Company She is called Adaline Girl. Isn't she Gorgeous!?!
• I water colored her and added some Jems randomly around the image.
• I adhered her to an A2 size card with a doily under her.
• The sentiment is part of the set and I used vellum and wrapped it around the image. It didn't really show up well. I think it would have been better if I would've used embossing powder.

A Little Pick UP

It's been a while since I've been able to sit and write a blog. Dad's cancer has gotten so much worse. The Doctor's sent him home with just a few days to left to live. It's been a week now. He says he isn't ready to die and is fighting it. It's hard because his body is shutting down and wants to stop. I hate watching him deteriorate like this but I understand him not being ready. I am saving everyone's cards and when things settle down I will visit everyone and get caught up on all of your adventures. I'm so glad I have my crafting. It helps so much to have an outlet for the stress. I made this card for Dad. He love's his truck and really enjoyed the card.

I used the a guy and his truck Stamp from Unity Stamp company and the sentiment is fro Stampin' up. I painted the image with water color paints and then used the cloud technique for the sky. Some of the hearts have stickles on them. The card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

I made this card over a week ago when dad was doing a little better. Inside I signed it with the words. "with loads of love, Jules" He got a kick out of that, :)

Be You Be True Love What You Do

Hi Everyone!! How Are You today? I have recently joined the Cute As A Button DT. I'm Here with a the April Freebie. She is just adorable! I hope you have enough time to check it out she is available in the Cute As A Button Facebook Group. When you finish coloring her and dressing up your project make sure to enter it in the free Digi Contest with in the group.

I love these images. The eyes are so cute and they just have a sense of innocence to them. I used the largest Stitched Rectangle Die of the set from Gina Marie Designs to cut the image out. I painted the image with water colors and added stickles to the hearts on her pigtails and the buttons on her vest. I used a rub on sentiment and added a button to add detail. The string is wrapped three times and then tied in a not at the bottom. The background cardstock is 4" x 5 1/4". I adhered it to a Yellow 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card.

Happy Birthday!

 Good Morning Everyone! I'm so excited to tell you about a new Facebook Challenge Group that has started up. It's a Progressive Challenge and the Digi's are provided FREE. I water painted the image and wrote the letter's "HAPPY" on the banner. The Balloon was painted using Pearlescent Paints for a little sparkle. I stamped the Sentiment onto a flag I cut from white cardstock. I adhered both items to pink card stock and then to my background paper. The card is

True Love

A Day For Daisies

Prize: $12.00 gift certificate

My card today is for Valentine's Day. I used a Spellbinders Die set to create my card. I used the largest die for my base in a rich red cardstock. To do the next layer I used the die one size smaller in a crisp white cardstock and the same rich red cardstock. I added a cupids arrow ticket with a bow and then adhered the white directly to the larger piece. The top layer was added with foam tape to give it height and dimension. I scattered Jems throughout the card and used WOW white embossing powder on the sentiment.
