Thank goodness for Straw Hats!

Hello Everyone and Welcome! We are kicking off another Festive Friday's Challenge at the Outlawz.ning.com this week. The image is from Cute As A Button. She is called "Good Soil". You can find the shop and this item by clicking the links above.I Painted her using water colors and then I used the a masking technique to make the clouds. I printed two images of her and painted the Sunflower on the second image. After fussy citting it out I used foam tape and adhered her to the hat so it gave the card some dimension. I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set from Gina Marie Design to cute the image before I adhered her to the brown cardstock. The ribbon came from my stash. I kept the card pretty clean because I really wanted to showcase the image and It will be easier to mail this way.

Good Morning Everyone, I'm so excited to tell you about a new Digi Challenge Blog, Creative Hands Friends. I've been asked to be part of the DT. Good Morning Everyone! I'm so excited to tell you about a new Facebook Challenge Group that has started up. It's a Progressive Challenge and the Digi's are provided FREE. A new challenge starts every other Tuesday. It's called Cre8tive Hands Fans. There are Prizes, Freebies and loads of fun! I hope that you will check it out and take part in the challenges.

I painted the image with water colors and then used the largest of the Stitched Circle Die from a Gina Marie Design Set to cut the image out. I added her to a piece of blue cardstock that I ran through my Big Kick in an embossing folder. The Sentiment Friendship is a sticker from my stash and the Hello is on a piece cut with a Stitched Label Die. I added some Jems to the image for sparkle and adhered it to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card. I used my white Gel Pen to add detail to the butterflies wings.

My second image is from the same artist Cre8tive Hands Friends


I painted the bird to resemble a Robin. I used my Stitched Rectangle Die set to cut the image and matted it on brown cardstock. The background is a cardstock from my stash. I added the ribbon a button and some sequins for detail.

We are looking for crafty people who love to inspire others with their projects. We have a Bi-weekly Blog Challenge along with a Bi-weekly Facebook Progressive Challenge.

Your responsibilities as a DT Member

1. Design four projects a month and have them done three days before the live posting date.
2. Post on your blog and advertise whenever possible about our Blog Challenges and Facebook Challenge.
3. Comment on your assigned number and inform us if there is a problem and you are unable to comment on a post.
4. Be part of the Team.
5. Take part in Blog Hops when they are scheduled.

Just Sit and Enjoy Your Day

Hello Everyone and Welcome! We are kicking off another Paper Al a Mode Challenge at the Outlawz.ning.com this week. Our theme for this weeks Challenge is to use border stamps and dies on your project. I hope you get a chance to stop by and see the Design Team's inspirational projects. Your sure to be inspired by what they have made. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Crafts and Me

•  I Started by painting the image with water color paints.
• The clouds and grass were added by using the masking technique.
• I used a Fiskars Butterfly . After the glue dried I bent the wings up and added a Jem to their bodies. 
• I used the Stitched Oval Die from Gina Marie Design Dies to cut the image.
• The trellis is from a Spellbinders A2 Card Die Set. 
• I made a 4" X  51/4" sky and grassy area to adhere the trellis to.
• I attached the image to the center of the card using foam tape and then adhered everything to a red A2 size card.
