Rose and Roxy

Hi and Welcome To  another  Outlawz.ning.com  Monday Greetings Challenge. I am proud to be a Guest Designer for the month of May. This week the theme is "Anything Goes." Our Sponsor for the challenge is Cre8tive Hands and Crafty Sentiments. I bought a Die Set from Gina Marie Design Dies awhile back and haven't had time to play with it. I decided since this was an Any Goes Challenge I would give it a try. It is her Window Die Set and its Lovely. It comes with two planters, two shutters and four different things to use as Hinges, or whatever you come up with. Here is the card.

and

I started out by cutting out the window opening. I ran the white cardstock through a brick wall embossing folder. Then I used TH Distress Ink to pain the Bricks. I used Walnut, Rusty Hinge and Pumice. Once that was dry I adhered the window frame to the brick. I used Ellen Hutson Spring Flower Die Sets to make the Lily's of the Valley's and Tulip's. Before I glued them on I used a piece of foam tape across the bottom of the window frame so it popped out. Then I laid the flowers across the foam Tape. The flower box is glued on top of the flowers.

Now it was time to color the image. I used Prisma Colored Pencils and adhered it to my A2 Card front. I taped two pieces of foam together and glued it down so the wall had dimension and depth from the image. I should've used a bigger card base so I could've put shutters on, but I didn't relize it until I was almost done. I guess I will have to make another one. I was looking at it and the one shutters could be used as a trellis I think??? Something for me to try... :) Stay tuned for future projects with this Die set.

Happy Birthday Big Boy

Hi and Welcome To  another  Outlawz.ning.com  Monday Greetings Challenge. I am proud to be a Guest Designer for the month of May. This week the theme is "Use Circles In your Design" and your card has to have a greeting on it. Our Sponsor for the challenge is Alicia Bel Digi's. Isn't that perfect. I love the images from both of  Artist! I had a lot of fun with this one.  I made a birthday Card for a man. I rarely do this because the men in  my life don't seem to appreciate what I put into it and if you buy one they always say "you should've saved the money." Anyway, I hope you get a kick out of the card!

I used the Digi called Christina in Tights. I colored her in with Prisma Colored Pencils and then cut her out with the Scalloped Oval Die Set from Gina Marie Design. Then I stamped the sentiment onto three circles that I cut out using the Stitched Circle Die Set also from Gina.
I Made a black card base 5" x 6" and then adhered a piece of white cardstock cut to 5 1/2" x 4 1/2". On top of that I adhered a piece of red cardstock cut to 4 1/4" x 5". I centered the image and adhered it to the card front. I included a camera and three red Jems to dress up the card a little bit. The final touch is Stickles in the twinkle of her eyes.
The cards Playful and fun and that's what I was looking for. I hope you enjoyed it! Have a blessed week!

Happy Mother's Day....Love Button's

Hi Everyone!! How Are You today? It has been so much fun watching my perennials come up and get ready to start blooming. I can't wait to start planting. We have to wait until around Mother's Day before we can start planting because we still have frost at night and the chance of snow. I have been busy planning what I want to add to the flower beds this year. I add a few new perennials every year. The garden is so pretty mid summer with everything blooming and it brings in the butterflies, too!

I have a card I made for some inspiration. I used the "Buttons" image from Cute As A Button. She is just adorable with her wavy hair and big bow. The Cute As A Button May Inspiration image I used worked perfect for a Mother's Day Card. Here is my Card.

I used Prisma Color Pencils to color the image. I added Stickles to the center of the flowers some of the button's and the trim on her pants.
I used a button's embossing folder on cream cardstock and used Stickles on the center of the button holes.
I added random button's across the edge of the embossing piece for a more finished look. Then I tied a knot through the button holes of the flower shaped button and adhered it to the center of the bag.
The Sentiment is a clear stamp from my stash supplies. The finished card is a 5" x 7".
I hope you have enjoyed my card and it has inspired you to create something awesome! Hugz

Spring is in the Air

Hi and Welcome To  another  Outlawz.ning.com  Monday Greetings Challenge. I am proud to be a Guest Designer for the month of May. This week the theme is "April Showers Bring May Flowers" and your card has to have a greeting on it. Our Sponsor for the challenge is Lacy Sunshine. Isn't that perfect. I love the images from this sight! I have an image that fits our Theme perfectly this week.

Isn't she gorgeous! I used Prisma Color Pencils to finish the image. The Bitty Butterflies are from a punch and I added Jems to the center of their bodies for some sparkle and texture. I used glossy accents on all of the rain and water spots because it looks so real in person. The sentiment is from my stash. I adhered everything onto an A2 sized card. I hope you play along on our Challenge. It's a lot of fun. All of the Crafters can comment on each others work and ask any questions they would like. That's what makes .ning so different from the rest of the blog challenges. It has a different format and talk with each other is highly encouraged. I can't wait to see what you make!!! Have a greaat week! Hugz

A Day At The Salon

Hi Everyone!! How Are You today? I have recently joined the Cute As A Button DT. I'm Here with a project for the May 1st Facebook Challenge. She is just adorable! I hope you have enough time to check out the Challenge and play along! I can't wait to see what you make!

I just love this image! It reminds me of when I was a little girl and I would sit and wait until my Mom and Grandma would get done at the hair salon every week. I finished the images with Prisma Colored Pencils and then used Gina Marie Design Stitched Rectangle Die set to cut it out. It was matted on a blue cardstock and the adhered to 6 x 5 1/5 Card base. I used a Martha Stewart paper punch to create the edge on the hair pin patterned paper. The purple ribbon is from my stash. I used glossy accents on the water in the foot tub to make it look more real and Stickles on the scarf and corners of her glasses.

This was a lot of fun to make. I love the images at Cute As A Button. The shapes of their faces and the way their eyes look so innocent is irresistible. I hope you have enjoyed the project and have found some inspiration to create your own. Good Luck in the Challenge!! Hugz

Eli Elephant

Hello Everyone and Welcome, Today I'm a GDT for Stamprints Digi Stamps Stop by their store and check out what's new. They are adding new Digi's every week and have some exciting stuff coming up this month.

  • I used Prisma Colored Pencils to color her and the Balloons.
  •  I used a Stitched Rectangle Die Set from Gina Marie Designs to cut the image and the red cardstock behind her.
  • I used a black and white thread and wrapped it around the image for some detail and color.
  • I couldn't resist adding the cupcake button between her two front feet.
  • I adhered her to a red Polk-a-dot background and used an A2 size card to finish off the card.

Hello Everyone and Welcome, Today I'm a GDT for Stamprints Digi Stamps Stop by their store and check out what's new. They are adding new Digi's every week and have some exciting stuff coming up this month.

This is such a pretty image and I had a blast coloring it in with my Prisma Colored Pencils. I outlined everything with a light blue marker for some added color. I used a Stitched Circle Die to cut the image and adhered it to my cardstock after I attached the bow. I used an A2 size card for this project.

I will be entering these Challenges:
