Flower Angel and a sense of Spring

Hello Everyone and welcome! Today at the Outlawz We have our weekly Saturday Paper Al a Mode Challenge Kicking off. It is an Anything Goes Challenge this week. Eureka Stamps

I started out by painting her dress with Pearlescent water color paint. I used a shimmery white. Then I used the Shimmery Blue to do the high lights and stitched areas. I also used the blue on her wings. I used Markers to color in the flowers and leaves. In the bottom corner I adhered some of the Bitty Blossoms I made from a Spellbinder Die set. I rubbed a little light blue Powder Puff Chalk across the edges of the two white roses. She was cut using a Stitched Rectangle Die from Gina Marie Designs and matted to a light blue cardstock cut with the largest of the Dies. I adhered her to a navy blue A2 size card and added some Jems for detail.

Hello Everyone and Welcome! We are kicking off another Festive Friday's Challenge at the Outlawz.ning.com this week. Hello Everyone, Today I am going to do something different. I am doing a Project for International Baby Day. I am going to share a set of scrapbook pages I made for my Granddaughter, Layla's, scrapbook. I am trying to make a scrapbook for each of the grandkids showing memories of their first year. It's been a struggle because I have seven Grandchildren now. These pages are special to me because they showcase the very first time she slept over night at my house. All of my grandchildren call me Nana. I love that they call me this. It is what we called my Paternal Grandmother. I have lots to show you so we better get this party started!

The Theme is Layla and I and "Sugar and spice and everything nice."

 I used cardstock for the background from Nana's Kitchen Stack by DCWV. I used a second piece from the same book and cut two strips 3" wide. I used one piece on the top of the first page and the other across the bottom of the second page. I matted all of the pictures on a some cardstock I had in my stash

I used the Baby Steps Cricut cartridge to make the babies and the crib. The large Grandma sayings are on vellum and tacked down over card stock from Nana's Kitchen Stack.

I found little buttons that were different baby items and used them in several spots throughout the two pages. I found a cute little set of letters and numbers that matched perfectly. Sometimes you just get lucky! :)







I found the 3D sticker and Thought it fit so well with the theme of the pages so I had to add it in.

I sure hope you enjoyed the scrapbook pages. I know that some people add a lot more to their pages but I don't like the clutter. It draws away from the pictures and just looks like a mess to me. I guess I'm kinda Clean and Simple...Have a Great Day!!

Good Morning Everyone! I'm so excited to tell you about a new Facebook Challenge Group that has started up. It's a Progressive Challenge and the Digi's are provided FREE. • I started by color the image with Prisma Color Pencils.
• I used a Stitched Rectangle Die set from Gina Marie Designs to cut out the image and the brown cardstock It is adhered to.
• I used the same brown cardstock to create the sentiment banner. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with WOW white embossing powder.
• The flower was from my stash and added to the corner for detail.
• I adhered everything to a piece of vintage handwritten card stock on an A2 size card.

I plan on using this card for Mother's Day.

Isn't she gorgeous!?! The images at A Day For Daisies are so sweet and fun to work with. I started by painting her skin with water color. I used a pearlescent water paint to paint the dress. The camera didn't show it very well but the dress has a gorgeous shimmer to it. I used distress inks to paint the hair and the birds. I also used markers on the hair. The Sentiment is from a Stampendous called Happy Messages. I added the pearly enamel dots for a little detail. I hope the card has inspired you in some way. I can't wait to see what you create! Hello Everyone and Welcome, Today I'm a GDT for Stamprints Digi Stamps Stop by their store and check out what's new. They are adding new Digi's every week and have some exciting stuff coming up this month.

• I used a black and white thread and wrapped it around the image for some detail and color.
• I couldn't resist adding the cupcake button between her two front feet.
• I adhered her to a red Polk-a-dot background and used an A2 size card to finish off the card.

This is a My Besties image and her name is Gardenia. I thought she was perfect for Earth Day. I water colored the image. I added Star Dust Stickles to her eyes and the ribbon on her boot.  I bought a new Die Set. Its the Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms Die Set. After I cut the flowers out I rolled them and added a hint of pink to the edges of the petals. I'm so happy with this Die Set. I bought it from Gina Marie Design Dies and I think it was only $11 (I've added a link to the product for your convenience). The roses are just darling and will save me a heap of money because I no longer have to buy them already made. YAY!! Hopefully, I've inspired you to create your own project and enter it in the Outlawz Festive Fridays Challenge.

• Isn't this yummy!?! I used Tim Holtz Festive Berries to water color the malt portion of the image.
• I used Pearlescent Water Color Paint to paint the Whipped Cream on the top and the stripes on the straw.
• The Cherry was colored in using a Tim Holtz Candied Apple Distress Marker.
• I colored the eyes with Tom Holtz Faded Blue Jeans Distress Marker.
• Then I used a white Gel Pen to add white dots around the image where needed.
• She deserved a pretty bow and some Jems so I found some in my stash of goodies and the Hip Hip Hoo Ray! were from somethings I was using when my Granddaughter comes over.
• I used a Scalloped Oval Die from Gina Marie Designs to cut the image out and adhered everything to a red A2 size card.
